PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This is a very nice Yamaha M1A Upright Piano manufactured in 1983, which offers a light-to-medium touch and is very responsive to play. Its tone is clear and vibrant which are attributes inherent to these excellent instruments. The 1980s were golden years for Yamaha’s production line.
This piano features a lovely walnut finish that is in excellent condition. The continental console style is incredibly popular among students and homeowners for its compact size and shape. Yamaha pianos are well-known for a lovely brighter tone and satisfying touch. This 44 1/2” console piano is the most common of the vertical pianos’ sizes.
Console pianos, which have a compact action (shorter hammers than a large upright has), but because the console’s action is above the keys rather than below them as in a spinet, a console almost always plays better than a spinet does. Console pianos are a few inches shorter than studio models.
