This 6’1″ Kawai GS-40 Grand Piano is of top performance quality and has been expertly checked and certified by our piano technicians, as have all our pianos in inventory. It was manufactured in 1990, and its cabinet is in excellent condition with a finish in high gloss ebony.
This fine piano is the predecessor to Kawai’s model RX-3 and for many it would be a more desirable musical instrument than an RX-3, largely due to the warmer tone from the Kawai grands of the 1990’s. Its treble range is clear and bell-like.
Kawai is a very popular brand that is well made, highly reputable and remains one of the most recommended brands by tuners, teachers and performers. It is also one of the most highly sought after brands on the resale market.
